Brazilian esports organization MIBR secured a decisive 2-1 victory over GIANTX in their opening match at the VALORANT Game Changers Championship, the global inclusive scene’s world tournament held in Seoul. The win establishes an early positive momentum for Brazil’s representation at the prestigious event.
MIBR, one of two Brazilian teams competing, faced GIANTX in a best-of-three series on Thursday. After dropping the first map, Haven, with a 13-8 scoreline, the Brazilians rallied to take the subsequent two maps.
They claimed Abyss with a close 13-11 victory before dominating Split, winning 13-5 to close out the series. This comeback performance marks a strong start in the championship for the team.

The Game Changers Championship represents the pinnacle of VALORANT’s inclusive esports circuit. Teams from around the world are competing for the global title.
Brazil’s second representative, Team Liquid Visa (TLV), is scheduled to make their debut on Friday, November 21. They will face KRÜ Esports in a best-of-three match.
MIBR’s next fixture will be on Saturday, November 22, when they take on Shopify Rebellion Gold. Both of these upcoming matches are slated to begin at 8:00 AM UTC-3.
