Ahaan Panday has addressed ongoing rumors about him dating his ‘Saiyaara’ co-star Aneet Pudda. The actor provided clarity on their relationship status in a recent interview with GQ India.
Panday stated that Pudda is his “best friend.” He acknowledged that many on social media believe they are a couple.
The actor, however, explicitly denied that they are romantically involved. He explained that “chemistry is not always romantic.”
Panday clarified that their bond is centered on “comfort and safety.” This offers context to their close professional and personal connection.
He further reiterated that Pudda is not his girlfriend. Panday described their unique bond, saying, “A relationship like mine and Aneet’s will never be.”
The actor also shared that they “dreamed of ‘Saiyaara’ together.” Seeing their shared vision for the film come to fruition holds special significance for him.
Panday confirmed his current relationship status, stating he is single.
Their film, ‘Saiyaara,’ is a love story. It features Panday as a musician named Krish and Pudda as Vaani.
The film’s plot involves Vaani suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. This element adds a distinctive and poignant layer to the narrative.
‘Saiyaara’ also garnered significant praise for its music, which was particularly popular among young audiences.
The film achieved global box office success, earning approximately USD 68.3 million. Domestically in India, its collections amounted to about USD 39.3 million.
