League of Legends has re-engaged its global player base with the return of a festive “Winter mode” to its primary battleground, Summoner’s Rift, following a recent game update.
The seasonal customization was introduced with patch 25.23 on Wednesday, December 19. It transforms the game’s main arena with holiday-themed aesthetics.
This update also extends to in-game items, with elements such as health and refillable potions receiving festive designs.
The reintroduction of this popular seasonal feature had been anticipated by players since its announcement on October 17. The return generated excitement within the game’s community.
