In her Instagram caption, Ranaut praised Gujarat, stating, “Gujarat is wonderful. I am amazed by its beauty, culture, and truth. Today I am in Gir National Park with my little friend Prithvi. Prithvi has now become my favorite travel partner. We are very happy seeing different animals. Anyway, the lions of Gujarat are famous worldwide.” The images shared showed her wearing a safari jacket and hat, seated in a jeep, and observing wildlife through binoculars.
Gir National Park, also known as Sasan Gir, is a renowned wildlife sanctuary located in Gujarat. It holds the distinction of being the last natural habitat for Asiatic lions. Established in 1965, the park covers an expansive area of over 1,412 square kilometers, with 258 square kilometers designated as a national park. Beyond its famous lions, the sanctuary is home to a diverse range of animals, including leopards, various deer species such as Sambar and Chital, Nilgai, wild boars, and more than 200 bird species.
Ranaut’s last known film appearance was in “Emergency.”
