Sp. Braga Twice Leads, Quinta dos Lombos Secures Late 2-2 Draw

Quinta dos Lombos secured a dramatic 2-2 draw against Sp. Braga in a fiercely contested Liga Placard match, equalizing in the final seconds after twice falling behind.

Sp. Braga consistently took the lead throughout the match, but the home side found a response on each occasion.

Mamadu Turé scored first for Sp. Braga from long range in the second half, breaking the deadlock.

Gonçalo Sobral quickly responded for Quinta dos Lombos with a precise shot, leveling the score.

Ricardo Lopes then put Sp. Braga ahead once more, appearing to secure a late victory for his team.

However, with only three minutes remaining, Gita capitalized on an assist from Gonçalo Sobral to seal the 2-2 draw for Quinta dos Lombos.

Sp. Braga had dominated the first half but was unable to score, partly due to missed opportunities and strong goalkeeping from Pintas of Quinta dos Lombos.

The match was part of the ninth round of the Portuguese futsal league, Liga Placard.

Before the game, Quinta dos Lombos paid tribute to Willian Carioca, a former player now competing for Sp. Braga.

The encounter was held in Carcavelos, a town near Lisbon.
