Priyanka Chopra recently shared an update from Hyderabad, where she is filming her upcoming South Indian movie, ‘Varanasi’. The global star posted a video on her Instagram story expressing how much she missed her husband, Nick Jonas.
The video showed Chopra’s hairstylist, Khushboo Bajpai, assisting her with her hair. Chopra playfully commented on her frequent need for help untangling her tresses.
She specifically tagged Nick Jonas in her post, writing, “@nickjonas Miss you.” This sentiment resonated with a previous occasion.
Last month, Jonas helped Chopra style her hair while they were en route to the airport. She had praised his efforts then, noting, “You’re getting good at this.”
Chopra was in Hyderabad for the “Globetrotter” event, which officially revealed the title of her new film as ‘Varanasi’. The project was previously known as SSMB29.
She will star alongside South Indian actors Mahesh Babu, who plays Rudra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Chopra is set to portray the character of Mandakini.
The film is directed by acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli.
Beyond ‘Varanasi’, Chopra’s upcoming work slate includes roles in “The Bluff” and the second season of “Citadel.”
