Farhan Akhtar’s ‘120 Bahadur’ Offers Early Previews Nov 18, Honoring War Heroes

Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming film “120 Bahadur” will debut with paid previews three days earlier than its scheduled release. The film, initially set for a November 21 premiere, will now screen on November 18. This decision was made by the makers to honor a significant historical event.

The early screenings coincide with the 63rd anniversary of the Battle of Rezang La, which occurred on November 18, 1962. The film itself is based on this pivotal battle during the India-China war. Makers stated this move is a tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives.

Akhtar announced the paid previews on X. He highlighted this as a first for Hindi cinema, offering audiences a chance to see a film three days before its official release. Bookings for these selected previews are now open.

The global theatrical release for “120 Bahadur” will still be on November 21. Paid previews are special shows held shortly before a film’s official release. They allow audiences to purchase tickets early, generating buzz and initial public feedback.

In the film, Farhan Akhtar portrays Param Vir Chakra Major Shaitan Singh Bhati. Rajneesh ‘Raji’ Ghai directed the historical drama. The cast also features Raashii Khanna, Sparsh Walia, Vivaan Bhatena, Atul Singh, Ajinkya Dev, and Eijaz Khan in key roles.
