Prominent League of Legends jungler Brandon “Josedeodo” Villegas has departed Isurus Gaming, fueling widespread speculation he is set to join North American powerhouse Team Liquid for the 2026 season.
Isurus Gaming announced Villegas’s exit on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, stating the “jungler” would pursue other opportunities outside of Brazil’s competitive CBLOL.
The Latin American esports organization later bid an emotional farewell to Villegas on social media, expressing well wishes for his future endeavors.
Esports news outlet LTA Insider reported that Team Liquid, a major North American team competing in the LoL Championship Series (LCS), is nearing a deal to acquire Villegas for their 2026 roster.
Villegas, known professionally as “Josedeodo,” only joined Isurus Gaming for the third split of the 2025 season.
His brief tenure with Isurus followed a longer stint with Estral Esports from 2022 to 2024. Estral briefly merged with Isurus in 2025 to form Isurus Estral.
During the first stage of the LTA tournament, Villegas’s team secured the top seed for their region, earning a strong position for the Cross-Conference event.
They finished third in the second LTA split. Their performance declined in the final split of the year, where they placed seventh or eighth.
