R6 Major Munich: Brazil Rebounds as FaZe Clan Guarantees Top 3

Brazilian esports powerhouse FaZe Clan has secured a guaranteed top-three finish at the BLAST R6 Major Munich, spearheading a resurgence for the region’s teams after a difficult start to the international Rainbow Six Siege championship.

FaZe Clan advanced to the upper bracket final by defeating Wildcard in a 2-1 series. They then secured their top-three position with a decisive 2-0 victory over M80.

The team is now set to face Falcons in the upper bracket final. This crucial match is scheduled for Saturday, 15th, at 10:30 AM local time in Munich (0830 GMT).

While FaZe Clan has found immediate success, other Brazilian representatives, FURIA and Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP), are navigating the tournament through the lower bracket.

FURIA is scheduled to compete against Team Secret in their next match. NIP will face Wildcard as they continue their run in the lower bracket.

Brazilian teams initially struggled at the event, recording a disappointing three wins against five losses on the first day. This put them below expectations for a region widely considered a favorite to win the entire championship.

However, recent performances indicate a significant turnaround for the Brazilian contingent, with the tide appearing to shift in their favor.
