Professional League of Legends player Choi “Doran” Hyeon-joon of team T1 has revealed his choice for the commemorative Worlds 2025 champion skin: Ambessa, following his team’s historic sixth world championship title.
The selection underscores Ambessa’s symbolic importance to the player’s career and the team’s legacy. Doran elaborated on his decision during a live stream Tuesday.
He stated, “As it is a T1 skin, I thought it would be better to choose a champion with symbolic meaning for T1, and the one who first made ‘T1 Doran’ known was Ambessa. Gragas is also an emblematic champion, but for T1 Doran it is definitely Ambessa.”
T1 recently secured its third consecutive World Championship in 2025, a feat that also marked the organization’s record sixth overall title. The victories in 2023, 2024, and 2025 solidified T1’s dominance in the competitive League of Legends scene.
The most recent championship culminated in a hard-fought 3-2 victory over KT Rolster. KT Rolster had entered the final series undefeated, making T1’s triumph particularly notable.
Ambessa, the chosen champion, recently celebrated its first anniversary within the game.
