Tusshar Kapoor has assured fans about his father, veteran actor Jeetendra’s, health. The update follows an incident where the 83-year-old actor stumbled at a prayer meet earlier this week.
Jeetendra had a minor fall on Monday evening while attending a prayer gathering for Zarine Khan. He lost his balance, tripped, and fell.
A video capturing the moment quickly circulated across social media platforms. Fans expressed widespread concern for the long-standing actor’s well-being.
Responding to the speculation, Tusshar Kapoor spoke to Bombay Times. He confirmed his father is “absolutely fine.”
Tusshar clarified that Jeetendra “did not fall too hard, so he didn’t get hurt.” He attributed the incident to a momentary loss of balance.
This reassuring statement brought significant relief to Jeetendra’s admirers. Many thanked Tusshar for promptly addressing the worries.
The prayer meet was held in memory of Zarine Khan, mother of actors Sussanne Khan and Zayed Khan. She passed away on November 7 at her home in Mumbai after a prolonged illness.
Several prominent Bollywood figures attended the remembrance. Among them were Hrithik Roshan, Saba Azad, Rani Mukerji, Aly Goni, and Jasmin Bhasin.
Attendees offered their condolences and paid tribute to Zarine Khan. The film community mourned her loss.
