The film ‘Haq,’ starring Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi, has seen a notable increase in its box office earnings. Despite a slow start, the courtroom drama’s strong story and performances are attracting more audiences. This indicates a growing positive reception for the film.
Released last Friday, ‘Haq’ opened to approximately $210,000 on its first day. Its initial performance was considered modest.

However, Saturday saw a significant jump, nearly doubling the opening day’s collection to approximately $400,000. By Sunday, preliminary figures showed an additional $340,000, with final numbers expected to rise.
The film’s total box office collection now stands at roughly $950,000 across its first three days. This is against an estimated production budget of $4.2 million.

This upward trend is largely attributed to strong word-of-mouth and positive audience reviews. Yami Gautam acknowledged the power of audience recommendations in boosting the film’s performance.

Suparn Verma directed ‘Haq,’ with Harman Baweja and Rowena Baweja serving as producers. The film is a courtroom drama.
The narrative is inspired by a true event. It tells the story of a woman’s fight for her rights and dignity against societal and legal challenges.
