Bollywood films “Thamma” and “Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat” have both completed 20 days at the box office, showcasing varied performances since their Diwali release on October 21. While “Thamma” has achieved higher gross collections, “Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat” has proven to be a significant blockbuster relative to its budget.
Maddock’s horror-comedy “Thamma” has grossed an impressive total of $15.70 million. The film collected $13.01 million in its first week. Its second week saw earnings of $2.24 million.
On day 19, Saturday, “Thamma” added $0.18 million to its collection. The film continued its run on day 20, Sunday, earning $0.18 million. With an estimated budget of $15.00 million, the film has successfully covered its production costs.

In contrast, “Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat,” a romantic love story starring Harshvardhan Rane and Rashmika Mandanna, has garnered a total net collection of $8.98 million. Harshvardhan Rane portrays a toxic lover in the film, a role that has resonated with audiences.
The film’s first week collection was $6.62 million. It earned an additional $1.96 million in its second week.
On Saturday, day 19, the film secured $0.15 million. It followed up with $0.17 million on Sunday, day 20.

With a budget estimated between $3.00 million and $3.60 million, “Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat” has more than doubled its investment. This makes it a certified blockbuster. The film is also strongly positioned to enter the coveted $12 million club if its current momentum continues.
These films faced competition from other releases last Friday, including ‘Haq,’ ‘The Girlfriend,’ and ‘Jatadhara.’ Both “Thamma” and “Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat” continue to hold their ground at the box office.
