Jennifer Lawrence recently offered candid remarks about Kourtney Kardashian. The actress described Kourtney as "the most unbearable she’s ever been." Lawrence stated, "She really gets my goat."
Lawrence made these comments during a popular lie detector interview with Vanity Fair. Her "Die My Love" co-star, Robert Pattinson, conducted the interview. The segment was shared on YouTube on Friday, November 7.
Pattinson first asked Lawrence, 35, about her favorite Kardashian. He held up a photo of Khloé Kardashian. Lawrence immediately confirmed Khloé was her choice.
Pattinson, 39, then asked Lawrence why she felt Kourtney was so "unbearable." Lawrence explained her frustrations.
"Because everything has to be an announcement," Lawrence said. She gave examples like, "’I’m not going to wear sets anymore.’ Just wear what you want, don’t make an announcement about it."
Another example was, "’I don’t have a TV in my room.’ Just don’t watch TV. Stop announcing it. Just, shh."
Despite her strong opinion on Kourtney, Lawrence is a long-time admirer of the Kardashian/Jenner family. She even made a discreet appearance on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’.
In 2019, Lawrence had a cameo in the episode titled "Legally Brunette." She was seen on a FaceTime call with Kourtney’s former partner, Scott Disick. This call took place in Khloé Kardashian’s garage.
Disick had intended to call family matriarch Kris Jenner for advice on Khloé’s paintings. Instead, Lawrence answered the phone.
The actress humorously told Disick, "I’m the new Kris." She added, "I love you all so much and you make me proud every day. You’re doing amazing, honey!"
Lawrence and Kris Jenner share a close friendship. Jenner has publicly celebrated their bond over the years.
In 2015, Jenner posted a birthday message for Lawrence on Instagram. She affectionately called Lawrence "my piece of s***."
Jenner wrote, "Happy birthday, you piece of sh*t… God, I love you #Jenniferlawrence thanks for making this night one to remember… even though we got caught… I love you, happy birthday, beautiful!"
Jenner once recounted a memorable incident from 2017. She revealed that Lawrence ended up naked in her closet.
"She had a few days off and I invited her for dinner," Jenner told host Steve Harvey in an interview. "We started having cocktails and we were having a great time."
Jenner continued, "We ended up in my closet looking at clothes and stuff, and she started trying some things on."
Harvey asked how Lawrence ended up "naked in that damn closet." Jenner casually stated, "she just took off her jeans and she did it." She attributed the moment to "22 martinis."
The unique friendship between Lawrence and Jenner began years ago. Lawrence was a devoted fan of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’.
Jenner shared that friends arranged for her to surprise Lawrence on her birthday. Jenner presented Lawrence with a cake.
"When I came out with this cake she was so excited and so happy to see me," Jenner said. "Since then we’ve been in touch via messages. It was fun. She’s a great girl."
