Emraan Hashmi has made a striking claim regarding Aryan Khan’s web series, ‘The Bads of Bollywood’. He believes the show could have earned between $71.8 million and $83.8 million at the box office if it had been released in cinemas.
Hashmi, who had a popular cameo in the series, shared his thoughts during promotions for his upcoming film, ‘Hak’. He noted the series was “politically incorrect.”
He watched the first episode with others, finding it initially took time to engage with. Hashmi concluded that it became highly exciting and offered a unique viewing experience.
In ‘The Bads of Bollywood’, Hashmi appeared as an acting coach. A scene where he interacted with Raghav Juyal, whose character was a big fan and sang “Kaho Na Kaho,” notably went viral.
Beyond the series, Hashmi also expressed a long-standing wish to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan in a film. He mentioned they previously worked together as a producer and actor on a project that ultimately did not materialize.
Hashmi hopes for a future opportunity to star alongside Khan.
Hashmi is currently awaiting the release of his film ‘Hak’. This movie, also starring Yami Gautam, is scheduled to hit theaters on November 7.
