Amitabh Bachchan Proud of Grandson Agastya Nanda’s War Hero Film ‘Ikkis’

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has publicly lauded his grandson Agastya Nanda. He expressed immense pride in Nanda’s upcoming film, ‘Ikka.’

Bachchan shared a photo from the movie on his social media account. He also penned a heartfelt note wishing Agastya success in his cinematic journey.

Bachchan offered his prayers and blessings, encouraging Agastya to always bring honor to the family name through his work.

‘Ikka’ is a biographical war drama. The film tells the valorous true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient.

Khetarpal distinguished himself during the 1971 war, destroying ten Pakistani tanks in the Battle of Basantar.

The movie is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sriram Raghavan.

The cast also features Simran Bhatia, Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sikandar Kher, and Deepak Dobriyal.

‘Ikka’ is scheduled for a theatrical release in December 2025.
