After weeks of speculation, the official release date for actor Yash’s highly anticipated film, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups,’ has been officially confirmed. Producers have refuted recent rumors suggesting potential delays in the film’s production and theatrical debut.
The movie is set to launch globally on March 19, 2026. This date positions its release perfectly for the festive weekend encompassing Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Eid, aiming to maximize box office engagement.
Rumors had circulated on social media platforms that Yash was reportedly dissatisfied with certain segments of the film. These reports suggested that the actor desired reshoots, which could push back the premiere date.
However, KVN Productions, a banner behind the film, publicly dismissed these claims. The production house shared a poster of Yash on X (formerly Twitter) to confirm the release schedule.
The post from KVN Productions stated, "Still 140 days to go. #ToxicTheMovie will be released on 19-03-2026."
Leading trade analyst Taran Adarsh also affirmed the planned release, directly addressing and debunking the delay rumors. He reiterated the March 2026 date.

Adarsh further detailed that post-production work commenced in April 2025. This was concurrent with Yash’s commitments to filming ‘Ramayana’ in Mumbai.
The ‘Toxic’ team is currently finalizing the last segments of principal photography. Promotional activities are scheduled to begin in January 2026.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, ‘Toxic’ marks Yash’s significant return to the big screen following the blockbuster success of ‘KGF’. Fans have eagerly awaited his next major cinematic project.
The film is being shot simultaneously in English and Kannada. It will also be dubbed into several other Indian and international languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
Yash and Venkat K. Narayan are producing ‘Toxic’. It is developed under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The final leg of shooting is presently taking place in Bengaluru.
