Keaton was born in Los Angeles. She truly made her mark in the 1970s. Many remember her as Kay Adams-Corleone. This was the wife of Michael Corleone in “The Godfather” movie series. Her career reached its peak in 1978. She won an Oscar for Best Actress. This was for her unforgettable role in the film “Annie Hall.” That same role also earned her a Golden Globe and a BAFTA award.
Over her five-decade career, Keaton starred in many successful movies. These films are still cherished by audiences today. Some notable titles include “Father of the Bride” and “First Wives Club.” She also shined in “The Family Stone” and “Something’s Gotta Give.” She worked often with director Woody Allen.
