nubia, the gaming division of Chinese tech giant ZTE, is ready to shake up the mobile gaming world. They have officially announced the RedMagic 11 Pro series. This new line of gaming smartphones is set to launch on October 17, 2025. Recent images of the RedMagic 11 show some truly impressive changes.
The biggest news is how nubia plans to handle heat. The company is introducing the industry’s first smartphone cooling system that mixes both water and air. This could set a new standard for how phones stay cool under heavy use. It is a big step for keeping powerful mobile devices from overheating.
The RedMagic 11 Pro will come in four distinct looks. These include “Transparent Deuterium Silver Wing,” “Transparent Deuterium Dark Night,” “Dark Knight,” and “Silver Wing Ares.” The transparent versions are especially striking. They show off a bright blue liquid cooling ring on the phone’s back. This design choice gives these models a unique and high-tech feel.

This clever cooling system is a hybrid design. It uses several smart features:
- Water moves through channels to carry heat away. This works with the air-cooling fan.
- The Wind 4.0 fan has been improved. It can now spin incredibly fast, up to 24,000 rotations per minute.
- A special “Waterfall Air Duct” helps air flow faster inside the phone. This design pulls hot air out very quickly.
James Jiang, the product manager for RedMagic, is confident in this new approach. He stated that the “RedMagic 11 Pro’s cooling system has leaped ahead of competitors by a generation, setting a new standard for performance-focused design.” This shows their belief in how well it will work.

Beyond the cooling, the RedMagic 11 Pro also sports some sleek design choices. The phone features a completely flat back. On the front, you get a true full display. This means the selfie camera is hidden under the screen. There are no notches or cutouts to interrupt your view, which is a signature RedMagic style.
Earlier reports have hinted at some serious power under the hood of the RedMagic 11 Pro. These include:
- A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, clocked up to 4.60 GHz.
- A dedicated chip to boost gaming performance.
- An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor placed right under the display.
- A high-resolution 50-megapixel front-facing camera.
- A massive 8,000 mAh battery to keep you gaming longer.
- An IPX8 rating, meaning it can handle being in 1.5 meters of freshwater for 30 minutes, adding extra durability.
