Amy Schumer Flaunts Figure, Reveals Weight Loss Journey After Ozempic, Mounjaro

Amy Schumer isn’t just making us laugh; she’s also turning heads. The 44-year-old star of I Feel Pretty recently stepped out in New York City on Monday, October 7. She sported a chic, bicolor Chloe sweater, valued around $1400, paired with high-waisted retro jeans that truly highlighted her figure. Her outfit’s rich neutral tones were spot on for autumn. She finished her look with tortoiseshell sunglasses, messy waves, and classic brown loafers, radiating confidence.

It seems her recent glow-up has everyone talking. Just a few days earlier, Amy shared a fun snap from a trip to Las Vegas with friends, and her fans couldn’t get enough of her look, especially her legs, which stole the show.

The comedian joined producer Alex Saks and her Kinda Pregnant co-star Jillian Bell for some fun in Sin City. Amy sported a chic Miu Miu short button-down shirtdress and sharp pointed heels. The photo, posted on Sunday, October 5, quickly sparked a buzz among her followers and fellow celebrities.

It wasn’t just everyday fans cheering her on. Fellow stars piled on the compliments. Chelsea Handler exclaimed, "Yes!!!!! Look at this picture!" Selma Blair simply wrote, "Legggggs." Even Amy Sedaris added, "You look amazing. Look at those legs! #miumiu Elegant!" Director Lee Daniels chimed in with, "Skinny mommaaaaa." Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs joined the chorus, saying, "Legs for days! 🔥🔥❤️"

Amy, ever the quick wit, took all the praise in stride. She sweetly replied to the outpouring of love, writing, "I love the love. My legs thank you!" Before that, she had already hinted at her transformation. She reposted a close-up of her legs from Alex Saks’ Instagram story, adding the sassy caption, "Don’t call it a comeback."

This wave of confidence and positive comments comes after Amy has been incredibly open about her weight loss journey. She’s always been one to keep it real, and her health updates are no different.

She once tried Ozempic, a medication often used for Type 2 diabetes but also popular for weight loss. About three years ago, her experience was far from ideal, as she suffered unfavorable side effects. Amy shared with Howard Stern on SiriusXM in January that she has a specific gene, GDF15. This gene makes her extremely prone to nausea, similar to her challenging pregnancy experience.

Because of this, Ozempic left her feeling terrible. She was bedridden, experiencing vomiting and a complete lack of energy. While she noted that others take it and do well, she added, "So God bless them." She lost about 14 kilos (around 30 pounds) quickly and looked great, but she couldn’t even lift her head. As she put it, "What’s the point?"

Luckily, Amy found a better path. She’s now seeing great results with Mounjaro, another GLP-1 medication for Type 2 diabetes often used for weight management. What made a big difference for her was also a combination with estrogen and progesterone. In a March Instagram video, she explained she was prescribed estrogen and progesterone after realizing she was in perimenopause, and her symptoms then disappeared.

This combination has worked wonders. Amy reported that she has thicker hair, better skin, and more energy. Plus, she humorously noted, "I have more desire to be down, if you know what I mean. I’m talking about sex." She added, "So that has been very good and Mounjaro too." She concluded her honest update by saying, "I’m having a really good experience with this and wanted to be honest with you about it." And honestly, we love her for it.
