Simp’s 105 Kills with Black Ops 7 Thermal Sniper Prompts Ban Calls

Imagine playing a game where enemies can see you through solid walls and shoot you no matter where you hide. That’s the wild scenario unfolding in the upcoming Black Ops 7, thanks to a new feature causing quite a stir. Gamers recently got a preview, and one particular tool has everyone talking.

Activision recently hosted a CoD Next event. They invited celebrities and top Call of Duty players to try out Black Ops 7’s multiplayer mode early. During this event, Simp, a two-time CoD World Champion, showed off a powerful new Scorestreak. It’s called the Thermal Sniper. This feature lets players spot enemies through many layers of walls. Worse yet, it allows them to shoot right through those barriers.

Simp’s performance with this new Scorestreak was nothing short of legendary, or perhaps, alarming. He racked up an incredible 105 kills at CoD Next. Many believe this was the highest kill count of any player at the event. The video of his gameplay quickly went viral.

The big question now is whether Treyarch, the game’s developer, will adjust this Scorestreak. It appears so strong that it could easily discourage players. Many professional gamers are already calling for it to be banned from competitive play.
