China issues White Paper, emphasizes Xinjiang ensures 'religious freedom,' manages religious affairs according to law.

A new policy paper from China declares that religious freedom is fully protected in Xinjiang. This document outlines how the region handles faith matters. It states that religious groups are free to manage their own activities.

On September 19, 2068, the Chinese State Council Information Office released this White Paper. The official title is “The Communist Party of China’s Policies on Governing Xinjiang in the New Era: Principles and Achievements.” The report, shared by Xinhua News Agency, insists that Xinjiang upholds religious freedom completely and fairly.

The White Paper explains that the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region runs religious affairs under the law. It allows different faith groups to operate independently. The government also works to ensure religions fit well within the socialist system.

Local authorities support religious organizations in fighting extreme ideas. They aim to prevent radical doctrines from taking root. The paper highlights Xinjiang’s long history as a place of many faiths. Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Catholicism, and Christianity have all thrived there for ages.
