Get ready for a night of musical fireworks! The 22nd annual Premios Juventud awards are heading to Panama City for the very first time. Mark your calendars for September 25. We’re talking world premieres, brand-new collaborations, and fresh faces from the Latin music scene. It’s set to be one of the year’s most exciting nights.
We recently got the inside scoop on a fresh list of performers who are ready to make history. Superstar Gloria Trevi and the legendary Marc Anthony are just two of the big names confirmed to hit the stage. But that’s not all. The awards promise even more epic team-ups that you won’t want to miss.

Here’s a fun twist: Marc Anthony’s wife, Nadia Ferreira, is co-hosting the awards this year. She told Us Weekly en Español earlier that her husband wouldn’t be joining her. But it seems someone pulled off a miracle! The salsa king cleared his schedule and will now perform a musical number at the awards.
Fresh Voices and Epic Debuts
The show will introduce some exciting new talent. Venezuelan duo Alleh & Yorghaki will make their TV debut with "Capaz (merenguetón)." This catchy tune blends merengue and reggaeton, showing why they are rising stars in tropical music.
Mexican singer Camila Fernández will also step onto the Premios Juventud stage for the first time. She’ll sing "Retumbando en el Cora," a track from her album La Fernández. Camila is also up for an award in the New Generation – Mexican Music category, proving she’s one of the most promising young voices around.
Boy bands get their moment too with DND. They’ll perform "Te Acuerdas?" alongside R!ch Yashel. R!ch Yashel used to be in CNCO and is now launching his solo career. Both DND and R!ch Yashel are nominated in the New Generation category.
One of the most touching parts of the night will be a special debut from three Panamanian legends: Erika Ender, Gaitanes, and Omar Alfanno. They’ll join forces to sing beloved hits like "A Puro Dolor," "Muy Dentro de Mí," and "Despacito." It’s an homage that’s sure to move everyone watching.
Stars Align for Unforgettable Performances
The stage will truly shine with the powerhouse presence of Gloria Trevi. She’s known as Latin America’s top touring artist and recently won the Legend Award from the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. The Mexican star returns to Premios Juventud to give us a first listen of "Súfrale," her new song with Grupo Firme. This is one of the most anticipated collaborations of the night and will definitely be a huge talking point.
The new generation of artists continues to grow. Colombian Hamilton will sing "Mi Reina" with Nanpa Básico. Mexican Kevin Aguilar will perform "10 Mil Mariposas," and Venezuelan Mari La Carajita takes the stage with "Prefiero Llorar."
For an electrifying urban sound, Makaco El Cerebro will perform "Oe Oe" with Farruko and Louis BPM. This energetic TV debut promises to get everyone on their feet.
Without a doubt, the most anticipated performance of the night is a world premiere featuring two music icons: Marc Anthony and Wisin. The king of salsa and the reggaeton legend will make history together on stage. They’re combining their talents for a collaboration that sounds truly epic. Marc Anthony, who has three nominations including Tropical Hit, will once again show why he’s a giant in Latin music. Wisin is also up for two awards, including Best Urban Album.
More Than Just Music
This year’s Premios Juventud is a big deal for another reason. It’s happening in Panama during Hispanic Heritage Month. This choice truly highlights its mission to celebrate Latin culture and its amazing diversity. The hosts for the ceremony are Alejandra Espinoza, Nadia Ferreira, and Clarissa Molina. These familiar faces have become audience favorites thanks to their warm personalities on Univision shows.
Over 30 awards will be handed out, covering everything from Music and Pop Culture to Digital Influence, Fashion, and Social Activism. This shows how much the event has grown. It now recognizes not only musical talent but also the cultural impact of new generations.

This year, Maluma, Camilo, Myke Towers, Natti Natasha, and Grupo Firme lead the nominations. This promises a fierce competition and many surprises during the show. Fans can also get in on the action with interactive features and real-time voting through ViX.
With even more artists confirmed, like Carlos Vives, Emilia, Grupo Niche, Sech, Silvestre Dangond, Willie Colón, and Bad Gyal, Premios Juventud 2025 is shaping up to be the hottest night of the year. It’s a platform that keeps launching new careers and celebrating our biggest stars.
Catch Premios Juventud 2025 live on Thursday, September 25, at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT. You can watch it on Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión, ViX, and TeleMetro in Panama.
