Pop superstar Justin Bieber, known for hits like "Baby," has pulled back the curtain on the personal guidelines that shape his family life. In a recent social media update, the 31-year-old artist shared a set of 10 principles he calls "The Bieber Family" rules. This peek into their world arrived on Sunday, September 14, just one day after he and his wife, Hailey Bieber, marked their seventh wedding anniversary.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, welcomed their son, Jack Blues, in August 2023. Hailey, 28, celebrated their little one’s first birthday this past August on Instagram, writing, "A year of you, my beautiful boy. Happy first birthday, Jack Blues, you are joy personified🩵." It’s clear family is a big part of their world now.
The "Bieber Family" rules cover a range of values, from personal well-being to how they interact with the world. The list included: "1. We value rest as worship. 2. We value longevity and a sustainable pace of life. 3. We value quality and excellence in production. 4. We value innovation and the advancement of the human experience. 5. We value physical health and well-being as an act of responsibility." The principles continued: "6. We value sustainability and the creation of products that serve humanity. 7. We value service and making people feel able to fly. 8. We value generosity and kindly giving our time, money, and respect to people on our journey. 9. We value life as a gift and practice daily gratitude for the day we have been given. 10. We value human beings and believe in their eternal dignity and worth." Justin shared these thoughts on his Instagram page.
This glimpse into their family structure comes as Justin is busy with new music. He recently surprised fans by announcing his new album, Swag II, which is set to drop less than two months after his earlier album, Swag. On Swag II, Justin seems to renew his commitment to Hailey through his lyrics. In the song "I Do," he sings, "I do / I mean it when I say I do / Nobody can touch you / I do / You’ll always be the one I choose." Another track, "I Think You’re Special," features lines like, "There’s no other love like this / It’s the reason why you exist / We don’t have to try, no, baby / I think you’re special."
While the famous pair has faced their share of ups and downs, recent reports suggest they are in a very good place, especially since the release of Swag. According to a prominent news channel, a source told Us Weekly in August that the intense focus and emotional toll of creating new music had put a strain on their marriage. The source explained that Justin tends to get completely absorbed and isolated when he’s in the studio working on new tracks. However, the source also noted that the "tension has calmed" between Justin and Hailey, who is also the founder of the Rhode skincare line. The two have "finally been able to reconnect more," which is good news for fans of the enduring couple.
