Laughter filled the air in Delhi on Friday as comedy icon Brahmanandam unveiled his autobiography. The Telugu actor’s life story hit shelves with a special launch event. Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu was present to mark the occasion.
The new book is titled “Me and मैं,” which translates to “Me and I.” During the launch, the former Vice President spoke highly of Brahmanandam. He called him the nation’s most “clean-cut” comedian. Many personalities from film and politics also attended the grand event.

A Comic Journey Begins
Before movies, Brahmanandam taught students. He was born on February 1, 1956, in Sattenapalli, Andhra Pradesh. Acting, however, was his true calling. He entered the film world in the 1980s. He quickly won over audiences with his unique comic timing.
His role in ‘Aaha Naa Pellanta’ in 1987 truly launched him. Soon, he became a trusted name in Telugu cinema for humor. He went on to star in hundreds of films, setting a remarkable record. He even holds a Guinness World Record. This record lists him as the living actor with the most films.

Brahmanandam’s career spans about four decades. During this time, he has acted in more than 1,000 films. His distinct comic timing, facial expressions, and dialogue delivery charmed audiences of all ages. He is not just a comedian; he has also shone in serious roles.
