Brandon de Jesús López, better known as the singer Beéle, is one of those artists who keeps the music world guessing. He’s only 22, but it feels like he’s been around for much longer. That’s all thanks to the huge success of some of his songs, especially his collaborations.
This Colombian artist is making big waves across Latin America. He’s also been in the news for some relationship drama. Even so, the United States is starting to notice him, and people expect him to climb even higher on the charts very soon.
In fact, Beéle recently lit up the Spotify Verano Forever event in Miami. The Latin Afrobeat star turned the whole venue into one giant dance floor. His unique sound, which mixes urban beats with African rhythms, was a big highlight of the night. It perfectly set the stage for the artists who followed him.
Beéle’s Hit Songs That Made Him Famous
Beéle already has songs with over 300 million streams on music platforms. A clear example is his 2023 collaboration, ‘Vagabundo,’ featuring Sebastián Yatra and Manuel Turizo. You can check it out here: ‘Vagabundo’ on YouTube.
Before ‘Vagabundo’ hit big, the Barranquilla native had already worked with Ovy on the Drums, Feid, and Mike Towers. But ‘Vagabundo’ truly made his presence known in a massive way.
However, we can’t forget his very first big splash: ‘Loco’ from 2019. This song became a huge hit on TikTok and racked up millions of plays on both YouTube and Spotify. It quickly put him on the industry’s radar.
Beéle didn’t slow down. He kept up with the collaborations, and luckily for his career, many artists wanted to sing with him. Some of these were already big names. For example, he recorded ‘Tu boca’ with singer Wisin. He also released ‘Low key’ with María Becerra and ‘Me arriesgué contigo’ with Kany García. These partnerships quickly moved him into the top tier of Latin music.
There’s even one song that never saw the light of day. Beéle himself once shared that he had recorded a track with Daddy Yankee, complete with a music video. But it was never released.
He explained in an interview on ‘40 grados K’ that the release was entirely up to the “Big Boss,” not him. You can watch that interview here: Beéle on ‘40 grados K’. Beéle said the song was ready to go, but Yankee decided not to put it out before his official retirement in 2022. Despite the disappointment, the Colombian singer felt thankful for the chance to work with a reggaeton legend. He saw it as a valuable lesson.
Looking ahead to 2025, Brandon de Jesús continues to surprise fans with new singles. These include ‘Volver,’ with Piso 21 and Marc Anthony, and ‘Por vos,’ alongside Arcángel.
