Punjab Floods: Falaq Naaz Appeals for Aid; Sonu Sood, Ammy Virk, Celebs Support Relief

Punjab is currently facing incredibly tough times, as heavy rains and widespread flooding have turned daily life upside down. Heart-wrenching pictures and videos coming from the region show just how much people are struggling. Actress Falaq Naazz has openly shared her deep worry about the situation. She is calling on everyone to come together and help Punjab.

Falaq shared a heartfelt message online. She reminded everyone that the people of Punjab are always the first to step up and help others in need. Now, she believes, it is our turn to support them back. The floods have affected many homes across the state. Local communities and the government are working tirelessly on rescue efforts.

“It pains me deeply to see them in distress,” Falaq explained in an Instagram video. “This message is especially for Punjab and our Sikh community, who are facing such widespread devastation.” She feels strongly that this community does not deserve such hardship. She pointed out that they always put humanity first, organizing community kitchens (langar) where everyone, regardless of background, is welcome. They are known for feeding countless people and always being ready to help.

Falaq highlighted that even now, despite their own struggles, the people in Punjab are helping each other. They are staying strong without blaming anyone for their situation. Instead, they are bravely fighting their own battle. “I urge all of you,” she said, “to unite. Let’s come forward to help our Sikh brothers and our Punjab in any way we can. They truly need our support right now. It is our turn to stand with them.” She also noted a vital truth: “If Punjab goes under, the country will not get grain. Stars Join the Aid Efforts

Many other celebrities are also stepping forward with aid. Actress Preity Zinta shared her sorrow about the flood situation in both Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. She posted prayers for those affected on social media. Actor Sonu Sood is also extending a helping hand to those impacted. Punjabi actor and singer Ammy Virk showed incredible generosity, announcing that he would adopt 200 homes to help with recovery. Sanjay Dutt is another star offering support during this difficult time.
