Two young men, aged 20 and 23, turned themselves in to the police this Monday. They confessed to being responsible for the killing. Both stated they had argued with the victim and stabbed him, but insisted they had no intention of taking his life. Neither of the men has any prior criminal record.

The men also handed over the motorcycle they were riding when the incident occurred. The attack happened at the intersection of César Batlle Pacheco and Jorge Pacheco. After the stabbing, the victim was rushed to the Capitán Tula polyclinic, located in the same area. Doctors there confirmed his death from the knife wound.

For two days, Sunday and Monday, officers from the Homicide Department kept watch around a particular house. They hoped to find the suspects there. Ultimately, the young men decided to surrender themselves. They are now in the custody of prosecutor Mirta Morales, who will oversee the next steps in the investigation.
