Actress Saloni Chopra is not holding back her anger. She recently saw Zain Khan Durrani performing in the film ‘Songs of Paradise’. This made her furious, and she didn’t hesitate to blast the movie’s creators. Saloni used a social media post to call out Zain Khan Durrani’s past bad behavior.
In her powerful Instagram message, Saloni shared painful memories. She wrote, “When I was helpless, he strangled me. He dragged me out of the house.” With these words, Saloni reminded everyone of an incident from 2018. Back then, she accused Zain Khan Durrani of both physical and emotional abuse. It deeply troubles her that a movie like ‘Songs of Paradise’ features a well-known cast, including several celebrated female actresses, working alongside someone she accuses of such actions.
Saloni Chopra Speaks Her Mind
Saloni laid out her story in her Instagram post. She first explained how Zain Khan Durrani betrayed her. Then, when she discovered his deception, Durrani turned violent. She went on to write, “People who claim to be feminists are standing by him. They are working with him.” Saloni pointed out the harsh reality many women face. She stated, “Women who speak up are often punished. Women like me who raise their voices struggle to find work.” She then contrasted this with her alleged abuser. “Meanwhile, a man who beats women gets jobs in prime time.” She ended with a powerful question: “Why does the entertainment industry keep working with such men?”
The Whole Story
It is worth noting that Saloni Chopra and Zain Khan Durrani were in a relationship back in 2010. Saloni ended the relationship because of Zain Khan Durrani’s violent actions. When Saloni brought this serious issue to public attention, Zain Durrani issued an apology. At that time, many other women also came forward with similar accusations against Zain Khan Durrani, echoing Saloni’s claims.
