The glitz and glamour of a film set took an unexpected turn in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. A crew member for the upcoming movie “Pati Patni Aur Woh 2” reportedly faced an attack during filming. Police swiftly stepped in. They arrested the main suspect, and an official complaint has been filed.
The incident happened on August 27. Film crews were busy shooting scenes for the Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan starrer on Thornhill Road. During this time, some local residents reportedly attacked Zoheb Solapurwala. He is the Production Head for BR Chopra Films. The sudden disruption brought a halt to the day’s work.
Police Act Quickly
The very next day, August 28, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed. Saurabh Tiwari, a Line Producer for BR Chopra Films, lodged the complaint at the Civil Lines police station. Police confirmed they arrested the main person involved, identified as Meraj Ali. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (City), Abhijit Kumar, shared these details with news agencies.
