MIBR’s VALORANT squad can finally relax. They’ve earned their spot in the VALORANT Champions 2025 tournament. This big event takes place from September 12 to October 4. Recently, MIBR player Gabriel “Cortezia” Cortez spoke to VALORANT Esports BR. He shared a surprising detail about how he got some extra help. This aid came from Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi, now a streamer for the organization.
Cortezia was asked about team contact with the former pro. He quickly pointed out Sacy’s genuine support. “I am very thankful for Sacy,” Cortezia said. He mentioned Sacy even put in a good word for him with players like aspas and frod. “He helped me a lot, and it was cool that it came from him. I didn’t reach out on Twitter asking for help,” Cortezia explained.
Sacy saw Cortezia struggling during the first split. Cortezia was having trouble with his role on the team. Sacy, without being asked, reached out. He asked for Cortezia’s WhatsApp number. Then he set up a call to chat.
Cortezia noted he had several calls with Sacy. They reviewed about four game replays together. Sacy helped him see what parts of his gameplay needed work. This included important tips on English communication during matches.
Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi, now a MIBR streamer, left competitive VALORANT on September 15, 2024. Before that, he made history. Sacy became the only player to win both the Champions and Masters titles. He won VCT Champions 2022 with LOUD. Then, he took home the VCT 2024 Masters Madrid trophy while playing for Sentinels.
