Even celebrities can’t escape bad weather! Actor R Madhavan recently found himself in a tricky spot. He’s currently stuck in Leh, thanks to some pretty intense rain and snow. He let everyone know about his travel troubles through a video posted on his social media.
Madhavan shared the video on his Instagram story, giving us a peek from his room window. He pointed out the beautiful but challenging conditions. “It’s the end of August,” he noted, “and the mountain peaks in Ladakh are already seeing snowfall.” The reason for his predicament? “I’m stranded in Leh because airports are closed,” he explained. “Heavy rain has been falling for the last four days straight.” He added with a hint of humor, “This always seems to happen whenever I come to Ladakh for a shoot.”
This isn’t Madhavan’s first run-in with Ladakh’s unpredictable August weather. He remembered his last visit for filming. “I was last here in 2008,” he said, recalling the shoot for ‘3 Idiots’ at Pangong Lake. “We had to wait back then too. Sudden snowfall started in August, just like now.” Despite the inconvenience, he admitted, “It’s still incredibly beautiful.” He finished with a hopeful thought: “I truly hope the sky clears up today. Then flights can land, and I can finally head back home.”

Beyond his adventures with unexpected weather, Madhavan has been busy on the work front. He was last seen in the film ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’. This movie, directed by Vivek Soni, also featured Fatima Sana Shaikh in a main role. Fans gave the film a warm welcome, with many positive responses. Next up, Madhavan is set to appear in ‘Dhurandhar’. This exciting new film will hit cinemas on December 5. He’ll be sharing the screen with some big names, including Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Dutt.
