Meghan Markle’s With Love, Meghan Season 2: Guests, Recipes, Crafts, Royal Insights

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, brought back her show ‘With Love, Meghan’ for a second season. It landed on our screens on Tuesday, August 26, much to the delight of fans. When the first season dropped on Netflix earlier this year, folks weren’t quite sure what to expect. But Meghan quickly got everyone talking, sharing her best tips for entertaining and cooking up a storm. She even dropped a bombshell that went viral: her real name is Meghan Sussex. Talk about a surprise!

This new season proves Meghan’s heart is truly in the lifestyle world. It really shows how you can make anything special at home if you just put some love into it. From kitchen creations to clever crafts, Meghan pulls back the curtain on her favorite things to do.

Meet the Star-Studded Guest List

Meghan definitely knows how to call on her friends. For this second season, she brought in some big names and close pals. You’ll spot Chrissy Teigen, Christina Tosi, Clare Smyth, Daniel Martin, David Chang, Heather Dorak, Jamie Kern Lima, Jay Shetty, José Andrés, Radhi Devlukia, Samin Nosrat, and Tan France all making appearances. It’s quite the lineup for a homemade show!

A Feast for the Eyes: What’s Cooking?

Just like in her first season, Meghan whips up a storm in the kitchen. She proves she’s quite the cook, making all sorts of meals and yummy snacks. Muffins are a big deal for the Duchess; she even bakes them with her own sourdough bread. We see her prepare everything from skirt steak to various types of fish throughout the season. Chef José Andrés joins her for the season two finale, helping her create a paella that becomes a highlight. Meghan also makes more than one trip to the Santa Barbara fish market. On one visit, she picked up a halibut weighing nearly four kilograms. On another, she bought 25 sea urchins. And of course, she cooked up a classic: roast chicken, a dish she shares with Prince Harry at home.

Homemade Wonders: If You Try Hard Enough

Meghan truly goes all out when it comes to making things from scratch. This season features her making a bunch of homemade goodies. We see her create salt and vinegar chips, Cheez-Its, graham crackers, and marshmallows, all from the ground up. She also shares her grandmother’s recipe for apple butter and bakes individual apple pies. And for something a little different, she even shows us how to make a simple rose water spray.

Crafty Duchess: Fun with Guests

Cooking isn’t Meghan’s only passion; she also loves a good craft. She drew on her past experience working at Paper Source to teach viewers bookbinding. With her guests, she also made jewelry using pressed flowers, crafted aprons for her children, Archie (6) and Lilibet (4), and put together some relaxing shower bombs.

The Royal Scoop: Harry, Motherhood, and Pre-Fame Life

Sadly, Prince Harry doesn’t appear in this second season. But he does get a mention! Chrissy Teigen’s husband, John Legend, was reportedly watching the filming from behind the scenes.

Meghan also uses the show to share deeper insights. Her brand ‘As Ever’ flowers get a shout-out, with Tan France from ‘Queer Eye’ humorously calling them “the gayest thing” he’s seen in ages.

She also opens up about being a mom. “I always wanted to be a mom,” Meghan shared in one episode. “I would save my money and go to Kmart to buy myself a real diaper bag.” She sweetly added, “I love it. It’s better than I expected.”

She also looks back at her life before she became famous. Meghan worked at Paper Source in Beverly Hills, teaching bookbinding classes – a skill she brings to the show. She also reminisced about her college days. At Northwestern University, she was the rush chair for her Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. “It was like, ‘Hi, welcome to Kappa. Hi, how are you? Come on in.’ That hostess greeting vibe,” she recalled. Another fun fact: her mother, Doria Ragland, was her Girl Scout troop leader when Meghan was a child.

In the sixth episode, while cooking with chef Clare Smyth, Meghan touched on her time living in the United Kingdom with Harry. Chef Smyth actually prepared the food for their wedding! Meghan shared how she and Harry became “obsessed” with Smyth’s bread while in London. She even used to ask, “‘Can I come pick up a loaf of bread for Valentine’s Day?'” even if they weren’t dining at Smyth’s London restaurant, Core.
