Fortnite keeps bringing big music acts to its virtual stage. We have seen artists like Travis Scott, Sabrina Carpenter, and Billie Eilish show up. Now, the famous virtual band Gorillaz is joining the party. This Tuesday, the band lands in the Fortnite Festival. Their characters come with many new items and content for Season 10.
All four band members are now playable. You can step into the shoes of Noodle, 2D, Russel Hobbs, and Murdoc Niccals. Each member offers unique items. These are available in the Fortnite Shop and through the Music Pass. The event also changes the main stage. It shifts from a Plastic Beach look to a gritty city jungle. This new design matches the band’s cool style.
Noodle and 2D Bundle
Players can grab a special Noodle and 2D Bundle. This package features two main band members. Noodle is the guitarist, and 2D is the vocalist. Their costumes and accessories are in the Fortnite Shop. They will stay there until Season 10 ends.
Here is what comes with Noodle:
- Noodle’s costume, with an optional removable mask;
- Noodle’s Case back accessory;
- The “DARE” emote, featuring dance moves from the Gorillaz song;
- Noodle’s Guitar.
And here are 2D’s items:
- 2D’s costume, with optional sunglasses;
- 2D’s Megaphone back accessory;
- Gorillaz Camouflage Wrap;
- 2D’s Microphone.
The bundle also includes the song “DARE.” You get the Bonesy Balloons Smoke Trail as well. Remember, you can buy all these items separately if you prefer. The popular track “Clint Eastwood” will be a jam track throughout Season 10.
Season 10 Music Pass
The Music Pass offers both premium and free rewards. You unlock these by earning experience in any Fortnite mode.
Here’s a look at the key items:
- Russel Hobbs: His costume unlocks right away when you get the Pass;
- Cyclops Octopus Accessory and Russel’s Drums: These are premium items. You earn them by continuing to play;
- Murdoc Niccals: This is the final costume from the Pass. It comes with Murdoc’s Cloak and Murdoc’s Bass.
Finishing the Music Pass also unlocks the Gorillaz song “On Melancholy Hill.” The Pass also brings premium music from other artists. MXZI, Hanumankind, and Stone Temple Pilots are among them. Free rewards include the Bear Keytar, Starlight Spectacle Aura, and Patched Drums.
