Akshay explained that eating dinner early is vital for your body. He pointed out that when you go to sleep, your eyes rest. Your legs rest, and your hands rest. Every part of your body gets to relax. But if you eat late, your stomach is still working. It’s busy digesting food instead of getting its own rest.

He went on to talk about how important digestive health is. Akshay believes that by the time you wake up in the morning, your stomach should have had a proper rest. But if you eat late, it’s still recovering. Then you eat breakfast, and your stomach is back to work again, without a true break.

A Simple Trick for Good Health

Akshay explained his point in a very simple way. He said that most sicknesses start in your stomach. By letting your stomach rest properly, he believes you can avoid many health issues. Eating dinner by 6:30 PM gives your body enough time to digest the food. This way, your stomach is fully ready for rest by 9:00, 9:30, or 10:00 PM, when you usually go to sleep. He says it’s a very simple idea, but it makes a big difference.

More Than Just Early Dinners

His disciplined eating habits don’t stop there. Akshay Kumar also fasts once a week, every Monday. He shared a bit about his unique workout routine too. He mentioned that his last dinner of the week is on Sunday night. Then, he doesn’t eat anything again until Tuesday morning.

When asked about his fitness training, Akshay revealed he doesn’t lift weights. Instead, he enjoys rock climbing and playing various games. He even joked that his gym is actually made for monkeys.
