Jessica Alba, Cash Warren Reveal Post-Divorce Dating & Co-Parenting Boundaries

It turns out Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are handling their split in a truly modern way. The former couple is completely "on the same page" when it comes to dating while their divorce is still underway. An insider close to the situation told a prominent entertainment news outlet that Alba, 44, and Warren, 46, have a clear understanding.

The source explained that Jessica and Cash had an open conversation about seeing other people during their separation. They both agreed it was perfectly fine. It seems both stars have genuinely moved on emotionally.

The former couple has set some very clear rules, especially about their children meeting new romantic partners. "Both agreed to keep things separate for now," the insider stated. Neither Jessica nor Cash is looking for anything serious at the moment, which makes this setup work well for them.

The news of Jessica and Cash’s separation first made headlines in January. They had been married for 16 years. On January 16, Alba shared a heartfelt message on Instagram. She spoke about being on a "path of self-realization and transformation for years." This journey, she said, was both for her personally and within her relationship with Cash. She wrote that she was "proud of how we have grown in our marriage over the past 20 years." Now, she added, it was "time to start a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals."

Just a month after Alba’s public statement, news outlets confirmed the couple had officially filed for divorce. Court documents later showed their separation date was December 27, 2024. They share three children: daughters Honor, 17, and Haven, 14, plus their son Hayes, 7.

Both Alba and Warren have recently started exploring new romantic connections. Alba, known for her role in Honey, first sparked dating rumors with actor Danny Ramirez in early July. They were spotted arriving in Los Angeles together after a trip to Mexico. "She’s really enjoying this new stage," a source shared at the time. "It’s not something serious, but she’s having a good time with him."

That very month, Warren even commented on Alba’s rumored new relationship. He told TMZ he was "happy for her." He admitted he didn’t know Ramirez, 32, but added, "he seems like a good guy."

Alba continued to spend time with Ramirez throughout August. Meanwhile, Warren was seen out and about with actress Hana Sun Doerr. Photos from August 7 showed Warren and Doerr, 25, leaving a dinner together in Los Angeles.

Even as their personal lives have gotten busier with new interests, Alba and Warren have kept up their communication. "The communication between them has been excellent," the source said, describing how the exes are handling their post-split lives. "Their relationship ended a while ago, so everything is friendly, and both are happy."

The insider also added that Jessica and Cash made a promise. They want to keep things normal for their children and continue doing family activities together. The divorce process isn’t fully complete yet. However, the source made it clear that "it’s not a conflictive situation." They expect it "won’t drag on."
