A close call in Mumbai for actress Shilpa Shirodkar has left her car severely damaged. A private bus collided with her vehicle. Thankfully, no one was hurt. Shilpa Shirodkar later spoke out about the incident.
The accident happened on Wednesday in Andheri (East). Police reported the crash on Thursday. News agency PTI confirmed that while the car was badly damaged, no injuries occurred.
A Lucky Escape for Shilpa Shirodkar’s Staff
Shilpa Shirodkar was not in the car when the crash happened. Her staff members were traveling inside. An officer stated that the bus impact caused a dent in the back of the expensive car. Its window glass also shattered. It was a frightening moment for those inside.
Shilpa Shirodkar Thanks Police, Criticizes Bus Company
Shilpa Shirodkar quickly shared pictures of her damaged car online. She used social media to thank the Mumbai Police. They helped her file a complaint without any trouble.
However, the actress expressed her disappointment with the bus company. She said the company blamed the driver, refusing to take responsibility for the incident. A case has been filed at MIDC Police Station based on her complaint. Police are now looking into the matter further.
“Anything Could Have Happened”
Shilpa Shirodkar posted on Instagram about the ordeal. She wrote, “Thanks to Mumbai Police, they helped me file a complaint easily.” She added, “But the bus company has refused to take any responsibility for this incident.” The actress felt relieved her staff was unharmed. Yet, she stressed how serious the situation was. “Thankfully my staff is fine and unharmed,” she wrote, “but anything could have happened.”
