The Supreme Court has made a big decision about stray dogs, and it’s stirring up quite a conversation. The court ordered that all stray dogs in the city should be caught. They must be moved to special shelters within eight weeks. This ruling comes after a rise in dog attacks, causing concern among many.
Naturally, people who care about animals are sharing their feelings. Among them, Bollywood star Raveena Tandon has openly expressed her views. Known for her love for animals, the actress didn’t hold back.
Speaking with HT City, Raveena stated it’s wrong to blame the dogs for their growing numbers. She believes local authorities dropped the ball. If they had properly run vaccination and sterilization drives, this issue wouldn’t be so big. She stressed that local bodies must take responsibility for these animals in their areas. According to Raveena, sterilization is the most important step right now.
The bench of Supreme Court Justices JB Pardiwala and R Mahadevan issued clear instructions. They said no person or group should stop the capture and relocation of stray dogs to shelters. Anyone who does so will face contempt of court action. The Supreme Court also ordered a special helpline number for the city. This number will allow people to report stray dog issues, leading to the dogs being caught.

In other news, fans are excited for Raveena Tandon’s upcoming film, “Welcome to the Jungle.” She will star alongside a big cast including Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, and Sanjay Dutt. The movie was expected to hit screens this Christmas. However, there’s no new update on its release date yet. Many people are eager to see Raveena and Akshay share the big screen again.
