Rasha Thadani is making her own way in Bollywood. She debuted with the film ‘Azad’. The movie might not have been a big hit. Still, Rasha has certainly made her presence known. She is also the daughter of famous actress Raveena Tandon. Rasha is carrying on her mother’s acting family tradition. She recently shared her thoughts on fashion and her generation.
Gen Z Stands Tall and Unafraid
Rasha believes that being part of Generation Z is powerful. She says her age group is strong because they are not scared. They are confident in who they are. Everyone has something unique about them. This uniqueness speaks for itself. Her generation has moved past the pressure of fashion trends. People are not afraid to wear things just because they are not popular. For example, jeans are very trendy and comfortable. It’s all about staying true to yourself. This authenticity becomes a style statement.
A Deep Dive into Nineties Style
Rasha said there is no constant need to be perfect. Being spontaneous feels right to her. Following trends is okay, but she likes to set them. Rasha’s fashion choices show a strong influence from her mother, Raveena. The entire 90s era also shaped her look. “My mother and I share many similar habits,” she shared. “I grew up seeing her likes and dislikes. This influenced me a lot.” Rasha even says that 90% of her style comes directly from her mother.
Today’s fashion often focuses on comfort. However, Rasha finds 90s fashion truly iconic. She loves how people wore accessories back then. Their hairstyles and makeup were also beautiful. Everything they wore seemed lovely to her. Rasha is a big fan of that decade’s fashion. She tries to include 90s styles in her looks. This includes smoky eyes, high ponytails, or even red hairbands. She jokingly added that she could live her whole life dressed in 90s fashion.
