The world of esports is always buzzing with changes, and the latest news from the Free Fire scene is no different. LOUD, a major player in competitive Free Fire, said goodbye to their star player, Cauan “Cauan7” Santos. The announcement came last Friday, made public on social media platform X, which you might know as Twitter. It marks the end of an era for the team’s biggest idol in Free Fire Mobile.
Cauan7 joined LOUD back in early 2021. He spent four years with the organization, helping them achieve massive success. During his time, he led the team to two victories in the LBFF, the Brazilian Free Fire League. He also played in three world championships. Even though LOUD didn’t win any international titles, Cauan was key to their many victories on the national stage. He truly helped shape their competitive journey.

But the competitive world waits for no one. After a disappointing 7th-place finish in the last Free Fire World Series Brazil (FFWS BR) split, LOUD made a tough call. They decided it was time for a change, and the team captain was the first one to go. It is still unclear if more players from the two-time Brazilian champion squad will be leaving.
LOUD is now actively searching for a new in-game leader (IGL). Meanwhile, the rumor mill is buzzing about Cauan7’s next move. Whispers suggest he might be trying out with W7M Esports, but for now, it’s all just speculation.
The clock is ticking for both the player and the team. The third season of the FFWS BR kicks off on August 23rd. By then, Cauan7 should be with a new squad, ready for action. And LOUD will surely have found their replacement for their departed idol. Fans can follow all the matches on the official Free Fire Esports Brazil YouTube channel.
