Sukumar decided to call Vijay right after seeing the movie. He wanted to share his thoughts on Vijay’s performance. Vijay mentioned that he holds deep respect for the director.
A Dream Collaboration?
This isn’t the first time Vijay and Sukumar have discussed working together. They’ve actually been planning a film since Vijay’s hit movie “Arjun Reddy.” Vijay expressed his hope that they will team up on a project in the future. However, he also noted that his main focus right now is on his current film commitments.
Media reports also confirm that producer Kedar Selagamsetty announced a film starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Sukumar back in 2020. That project has yet to begin production.
