Farense Dominates Al-Ettifaq 5-1 in Pre-Season Friendly

Farense showed their strength in a friendly match this Tuesday afternoon. They completely outplayed Saudi club Al-Ettifaq, winning with a score of 5-1 in Albufeira. The Portuguese side looked sharp and ready for the season ahead.

They set the tone early, leading 2-0 by halftime. Bruno Almeida found the net first in the 39th minute. Just a minute later, Gjorgjev doubled the advantage, giving Farense a comfortable cushion. Their attack didn’t slow down after the break.

In the second half, Farense kept pouring on the goals. Rui Costa scored in the 55th minute, followed quickly by Rúben Ribeiro in the 57th. Cuba added another in the 77th minute, making it a dominating 5-0. Al-Ettifaq managed to get one back right at the end, with Albishi scoring in the final minute.

This big win is part of Farense’s preparation for official competitions. They have one more friendly game scheduled. Their next opponent will be Estrela da Amadora. That match is set for August 3rd at 7 PM. It will take place at Estádio de São Luís. Tickets for the game are available for fans.
