A new chapter has opened for winger Jeremy Antonisse. The 23-year-old forward recently sealed a move to Kifisia, a club from the top flight of Greek football. This transfer comes after two seasons with Moreirense in Portugal’s Liga Betclic. The Greek team shared the news officially on its website this past Monday.
Antonisse steps into a fresh challenge, joining a club located on the outskirts of Athens. Kifisia earned their spot in the top league by winning the Greek second division last season. For Moreirense, based in the Guimarães area, Antonisse was a key presence, playing 25 official matches in the 2023/24 season and 31 in 2024/25. His contract with the Portuguese side was set to run until 2027.
Interestingly, Antonisse missed the current pre-season training under Moreirense coach Vasco Botelho da Costa. He had special permission to report late. The reason was his commitment to the Caribbean national team, Curaçao. He was representing his country in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the region’s main international competition, held in June.
Born in Rosmalen, Netherlands, Antonisse came up through the ranks at PSV. He made his senior debut for the Eindhoven club during the 2020/21 season. Before heading to Portuguese football, he spent the 2022/23 season on loan with Emmen, another Dutch team. His move to Portugal happened the following season, setting the stage for his recent jump to Greece.
