Porto’s initial offer was a solid €18 million, plus an extra €2 million based on future performance goals. Copenhagen, however, held firm on their asking price for their promising midfielder. They wanted a base payment of €20 million. On top of that, they insisted on the same €2 million in performance-related add-ons.
