A Coldplay concert-goer who shared a now-viral video of two executives caught on the jumbotron has no regrets. Grace, the woman behind the camera, recently told The Sun her decision to post the clip was spur-of-the-moment. She explained she didn’t know the couple featured, Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, at all. Grace just thought their reaction to the Kiss Cam was interesting and worth sharing.
Grace admits that part of her feels bad for turning their lives upside down. But, she added, "play stupid games, win stupid prizes." She even quoted Taylor Swift, saying she hopes their partners can heal. Grace wishes them a second chance at happiness, believing her video might be a "blessing in disguise" for them.
Grace and her friends were at Coldplay’s show in Boston on Wednesday, July 16. During the "Kiss Cam" segment, the camera spots couples in the crowd. Grace filmed this part and put it online. Her video shows Byron and Cabot sitting close together. They then realize the camera is on them. Byron quickly moved out of the shot. Cabot turned away and covered her face with her hands.
Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, even joked about the moment. "Wow, look at these two," he called out. "Come on, cheer up. You’re fine." Martin added with a laugh, "Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy. I’m not really sure what to do. Good heavens! I hope we haven’t done anything wrong."
Reports say both Byron and Cabot are married to other people. Neither has spoken publicly about their relationship status. Us Weekly reached out to them for comments.
Grace told The Sun that the identities of Byron and Cabot were a hot topic at Gillette Stadium. "It was definitely a hot topic, but no one knew who they were," she said. Grace posted her video before going to sleep that night. It quickly gained thousands of views. She woke up to find it had seven million views. Now, it’s over 30 million. She called the rapid spread "overwhelming, to say the least."
Byron and Cabot have worked together since 2024. That’s when Cabot joined Astronomer as Chief People Officer. Byron, who is the CEO of the tech company, spoke about her in a November 2024 press release. He said Astronomer’s people are their most valuable asset. Byron praised Cabot’s "exceptional leadership" and "deep experience." He added that her passion for creating diverse workplaces makes her a great fit for the company.
