While their 2024 Pad GT Pro offered a solid 12.3-inch OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, this new model pushes the limits even further.
The Honor Pad GT2 Pro features a vibrant 12.5-inch IPS LCD panel. It boasts a sharp 3K resolution, which means 3000 by 1920 pixels, making everything look incredibly detailed. But the real headline is its super-fast 165Hz refresh rate. This allows the screen to update 165 times every second. Honor says this makes games like “CrossFire: Gunfight King” run at a smooth 165 frames per second, giving players a real edge with fluid motion.
Under the hood, this tablet packs a serious punch. It runs on the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. This chip is built using a 4-nanometer process and can hit speeds of up to 3.3 GHz. That’s a nice step up from the previous model, which used the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, clocked at 3.0 GHz. More power means smoother gameplay and faster app performance.
This top-tier processor works with plenty of memory and storage. You can pick from models with 8GB, 12GB, or a massive 16GB of RAM. For storage, options include 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB. To keep things cool during intense gaming sessions, Honor added a graphene sheet. This helps the tablet manage heat better, so you won’t feel it getting too warm in your hands.
The Honor Pad GT2 Pro holds a large 10,100 mAh battery. Despite its power, the tablet is still quite thin at just 5.8 mm. It weighs 580 grams, which is a bit more than its predecessor’s 555 grams, but still very manageable. Audio is also a big deal here. It has eight speakers that support IMAX Enhanced sound, giving you wide, theater-like audio. This makes movies and games much more immersive. Plus, a special vibration engine adds to the realism, letting you feel the action in your hands.
The Honor Pad GT2 Pro is set to go on sale in China on July 28, 2025. It will come in two stylish colors: Ice Crystal White and Phantom Gray. Here’s a look at the different versions and their prices:
