Jeff Bezos is making headlines for more than just his business ventures. The Amazon founder recently stepped out with a noticeable change to his appearance: a fresh hairstyle. It’s a real shift for Bezos, who has sported a famously bald look for years.
Photos taken on July 10 at the exclusive Allen & Company Sun Valley conference showed off his new ‘do. He’s now got a thicker patch of gray hair. This new growth sits around the lower half of his scalp. It’s an area often called the "donor zone" for hair transplants by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. However, there’s no official word that Bezos is planning or has undergone such a procedure.
This new hair isn’t completely out of the blue. During his recent wedding celebrations with Lauren Sánchez in Italy, photos showed some hair stubble in the same area. It just wasn’t as thick as what we’re seeing now. It seems he’s embracing a fuller head of hair as he begins this new chapter.
Bezos and Sánchez tied the knot in a truly star-studded and extravagant affair. Their multi-day wedding celebration in Italy reportedly cost a massive $11 million.
A Grand Celebration with Famous Faces
The guest list read like a who’s who of Hollywood and beyond. Big names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah Winfrey, and Orlando Bloom were there. Reality TV moguls Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Khloé Kardashian also joined the festivities.
Sánchez and Bezos first revealed their relationship to the public in 2019. They got engaged in May 2023. Their wedding brought together 200 guests. Seventy of those were close family members.

Lauren Sánchez’s children were all present. This included Nikko, who is 24, Evan, 19, and Ella, 17. Bezos has four children with his ex-wife, Mackenzie Scott. They tend to stay out of the public eye. It’s not known if they were at the wedding.
Dancing Through Venice
The festivities began on June 26. Guests started arriving in Venice, Italy, setting the stage for a spectacular event. The main wedding ceremony happened the very next day. It took place on the beautiful island of San Giorgio. The happy couple hosted another big party the following night. This bash was held at the historic Arsenale di Venezia, an old shipyard.
According to a source who spoke with Us Weekly, the focus was all about the "music and the party." They described it as a "huge dance party." Lauren and Jeff spent the entire night dancing. They looked completely in love and were having a fantastic time. They skipped traditional dances, choosing instead to just party with their guests.
More famous faces were seen at the shipyard celebration. Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Gates, and Mick Jagger were among the attendees. Jessica Alba also showed up, accompanied by her daughter, Honor.
Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble were also enjoying themselves. The same source added that Kris was the "life of the party." She danced a lot with Corey on the dance floor. She also reportedly had a friendly chat with NFL star Tom Brady.
