MIBR Announces CS2 Inclusive GOAT Olga Rodrigues

On Thursday night, MIBR made a big splash in the esports world. They announced the return of Olga “Olga” Rodrigues to their female Counter-Strike 2 team. This move brings a celebrated gaming figure back home after two years playing abroad.

Olga isn’t just any player; she’s a true pioneer in the female CS scene. Many new players look up to her as an inspiration. Most in the community already call her the “GOAT”—Greatest Of All Time—for the inclusive gaming scene. Records from Liquipedia show she has won an impressive 28 titles. Plus, HLTV, a major esports site, ranked her as the second-best player globally in 2022.

The 31-year-old spent her recent years competing in Asia. She played for HaoShengGaming, also known as HSG, out of China. Her time there was tough because of a big change. ESL, a key esports organizer, removed Asia’s direct path to the world championships. This meant Olga missed out on competing for recent global titles. Now, she’s back in Brazil with a clear goal. She wants to help her country secure its second world championship in CS2.

MIBR quickly welcomed their new star with excitement.

MIBR is clearly serious about building a powerful team. They have high hopes for Olga to cement her GOAT status in CS, given her established reputation in the inclusive scene.

The full MIBR female CS2 lineup now features:

  • Olga “Olga” Rodrigues
  • Gabriela “GaBi” Maldonado
  • Nadjila “poppins” Sanchez Rodrigues
  • Giovanna “yungher” Yungh Mataveli
  • Daniele “Dani” Cavallari
