Honor, a brand that spun off from Huawei, has been busy making its own mark globally. They’ve been quietly developing two new smartphones in the X70 series. The standard X70 model is set to launch very soon. A second model, the X70 Max, is expected to arrive later in September 2025.
Just recently, Honor confirmed the big news on Weibo, a major social media platform in China. The company stated the standard X70 will officially debut on July 15, 2025. This reveal comes after much chatter among tech enthusiasts.
A Chinese tipster named Experience More also shared images of the actual Honor X70 on Weibo. These pictures included details about the phone’s hardware. One standout feature immediately caught everyone’s eye: an incredibly large 8,300 mAh battery. This kind of battery capacity is truly unusual for a modern smartphone.

Another well-known Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station, also spilled more beans on the Honor X70’s full specifications.
