RCB Captain Vows to Win IPL Title Before Final Against Punjab Kings

The stage is set for the IPL 2025 final on June 3 at the Ahmedabad stadium, where Royal Challengers Bangalore will face off against Punjab Kings. RCB captain Rajat Patidar spoke to the media ahead of the big game, expressing his team’s hopes of winning the title. One of the key questions on everyone’s mind is whether middle-order batsman Tim David will make it to the playing eleven.

According to the Times of India, Patidar said the medical team has not made a decision on David’s availability yet. When asked about David’s chances of playing, Patidar didn’t give a direct answer.

RCB’s Quest for a Maiden Title

Royal Challengers Bangalore has been waiting for their maiden IPL title for years, and this time, they’re more determined than ever. With Virat Kohli on their side, they have a chance to make it happen. Kohli, who has been with RCB for 18 years, has been a source of inspiration for the team. Patidar said the entire team will give it their all to win the title for Kohli.

RCB has been to the finals three times before – in 2009, 2011, and 2016 – but lost each time. On the other hand, Punjab Kings have been to the finals only once, in 2014, where they lost to KKR. This time, under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer, they’ve made it to the finals after 11 years.

Kohli’s Unmatched IPL Record

Virat Kohli’s IPL record is impressive, to say the least. He’s the first batsman to cross the 8,000-run mark in the league. With 8,618 runs under his belt, including eight century innings, Kohli is a force to be reckoned with. His average in the IPL stands at 39.53, and he needs just nine more sixes to reach 300. Will this be RCB’s year, or will Punjab Kings take home the title? Only time will tell.

As for Tim David’s fate, it’s still a waiting game. Fans will have to wait until the final day to see if he makes it to the playing eleven. One thing’s for sure – the IPL 2025 final is going to be an exciting match, with both teams giving it their all to take home the coveted title.
